Equipment

  • 1 Mixing bowl Medium or large
  • 1 Rolling Pin For flattening dough
  • 1 Baking sheet Lined with parchment paper

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or whole wheat flour for a heartier version)
  • 1/3 cup water (add more if needed)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix the flour and salt in a bowl.
  • Add olive oil and water. Stir until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough briefly on a floured surface until smooth (about 1–2 minutes).
  • Divide the dough into 4–6 small balls.
  • Roll out each ball thinly (about 1/8 inch thick) using a rolling pin.
  • Place the flat rounds onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Prick each round with a fork to prevent bubbles.
  • Bake for 6–8 minutes or until lightly golden.
    (Flip halfway through for extra crispness.)
  • Cool on a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
