Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder optional
  • 4 hamburger buns toasted optional
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese optional
  • 4 leaves lettuce optional
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 4 tsp ketchup/mayo/mustard to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
  • Heat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook patties for about 4–5 minutes per side, until fully cooked (internal temp: 160°F).
  • Add cheese slices during the last minute of cooking if using.
  • Toast buns lightly on the grill or pan.
  • Assemble burgers with buns, patties, and desired toppings.
  • Serve warm with fries or a side salad.

Notes

  • You can substitute beef with ground turkey or a plant-based patty.
  • Add pickles, bacon, or avocado for extra flavor.
